Two-photon NIR switching
By attaching a two-photon harvesting triarylamine antenna to a thermally stable ortho-fluorinated azobenzene derivative Javier created a photoswitch, which is fully addressable with visible and NIR light by using one-photon and two-photon excitation, respectively. The work was carried out in close collaboration with the team of Sergey Kovalenko and will appear in a forthcoming issue of Angewandte Chemie. Congratulations!
