Optically switchable transistors

In an established collaboration with the Samori group we have been able to take optically switchable transistors to the next level. By blending small molecules with photoswitching and semiconducting functions we could demonstrate the generality of our previously developed approach (see Nature Chemistry 4, 675 (2012)) and prepare significantly improved transistor devices. The work has just appeared in Nature Communications.
