Nobel Revival with Ben Feringa
In a memorable event featuring Nobel Laureate Ben Feringa (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen) the Humboldt-Universitäts-Gesellschaft (HUG) remembered the first two Nobel Laureates in Chemistry - Jacobus van't Hoff and Emil Fischer - and showed the influence of their work on stereochemistry for the design of molecular machines. In the unique setting of the Robert-Koch-Forum, Ben gave a stimulating and inspiring lecture "From my Personal Heros to the Tiniest Machines" that was warmly received and will be remembered. Before the event Ben spent the afternoon with group members discussing their projects - thanks so much for your time and for sharing your passion and wisdom!
