Molecular zippers based on polyazobenzenes
Based on our rigid main chain polyazobenzenes and in collaboration with the Kowarik group we were able to demonstrate light-induced amorphization of the side chains and hence photomodulate crystallinity in a polymer film as detailed in an upcoming publication in Macromolecules.
