Exploiting the triplet state

Joining triplet sensitizing units and diarylethene in a conjugated fashion leads to much improved photoswitches, which can be operated in both directions using visible light without any detectable fatigue as described by Sebastian in his forthcoming paper in Angewandte Chemie. Congratulations!
