Dipoles steer self-assembly
By introducing fluorine into the termini of sexiphenyl in different orientations, Yves has been able to modulate their self-assembly on metal surfaces. The collaborative efforts involving various experimental and theory groups will be published in a forthcoming issue of The Journal of Physical Chemistry C.
